1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you use Omnithink, you may provide information such as:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Queries and Prompts: The questions and text you submit to be processed across AI models.
• Private session: When you enable Private in the app, we do not save that chat to your account history on our servers and we do not record per-request token usage for analytics for those requests. Your prompts still go to the AI providers and still count toward your daily question limit; each provider's privacy policy applies to their processing.
• Feedback and Preferences: Model ratings, preferred answer modes, and settings.
• Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
• Communications: Messages you send to our support team.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Service, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, query frequency, and interaction patterns.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and language preferences.
• Log Data: IP address, access times, and error logs.
• Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and local storage to maintain sessions and remember preferences. See Section 7 for details.

1.3 Information from Third-Party AI Providers

Omnithink transmits your queries to third-party AI model providers to generate responses. These providers may include OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, DeepSeek, and others. We receive the AI-generated responses from these providers. Each provider's handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review:

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use collected information for purposes such as:

• Providing the Service: Processing your queries, generating comparison results, and delivering consensus analyses.
• Improving the Service: Analyzing usage patterns to develop and refine features.
• Personalization: Remembering your preferred models, modes, and settings.
• Communications: Sending service-related notifications and responding to support requests. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails without your consent.
• Security: Detecting and addressing fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
• Legal Compliance: Meeting applicable legal requirements and responding to lawful requests.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Third-Party AI Providers: Your queries are transmitted to AI model providers to generate responses. We send only the data necessary to process your query. We require that these providers handle data in a manner consistent with their published privacy policies and applicable law.
• Service Providers: We may engage vendors for hosting, analytics, payment processing, and support. These providers are expected to handle data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
• Analytics Partners: We may use analytics services to understand how the Service is used. These tools may collect anonymized or aggregated usage data. We do not share personal data with analytics providers for advertising purposes.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
• With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

4. Consent and User Permissions

By creating an account or using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, we will seek your explicit consent before collecting specific types of data.

Tracking and Advertising: Omnithink does not track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes. We do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and we do not participate in cross-app tracking. If this changes in the future, we will request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before any such tracking occurs.

5. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
• Query History: Stored for the duration of your account. You may delete individual chats or remove all data we hold by using in-app account deletion (see Section 8.1).
• Anonymous Queries: Queries submitted without an account are not linked to any identity and may be retained in anonymized form for up to 90 days.
• Aggregated Data: De-identified, aggregated data may be retained for analytics and service improvement.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest where technically feasible.
• Secure authentication mechanisms.
• Access controls limiting internal access to personal data.
• API keys for third-party providers are managed server-side and are not exposed to client applications.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

• Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and core functionality.
• Preference Cookies: Remember your settings such as preferred AI models and display preferences.
• Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how the Service is used. We do not use analytics data for third-party advertising.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Service functionality.

8. Your Rights and Account Deletion

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Data Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential data collection at any time.
• Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

8.1 Account Deletion

You may delete your account data at any time from within the app by opening the Account menu (profile icon, top right after you sign in), then choosing Delete account data… and confirming. Upon deletion, your personal data, saved chats, and preferences stored by us will be removed in line with Section 5. Certain data may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention. You may also request account deletion by contacting us at the email addresses in Section 12.

9. Children's Privacy

Omnithink is not intended for individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our servers and third-party AI providers may operate. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the Service, you acknowledge this transfer.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top and post the revised policy on our website. For material changes, we may provide additional notice via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy.
